PR Manager

To provide mentoring, training, and investor access to Pakistan's most promising startups, while ensuring a more inclusive ecosystem with a 25% minimum of women-led cohorts.

NIC Lahore is a premier startup hub and incubator in Pakistan. We focus on fostering innovation and scaling diverse product teams through mentorship and strategic support. As our PR Manager, you will be the primary voice of the incubator, translating the success of our startups into compelling narratives for the wider ecosystem.

The Role

We are looking for a high-potential "fresher" who is hungry for direction and ready to own the PR function. This is a hands-on role where you will manage the incubator's public image, build relationships with media partners, and spotlight the ventures within our cohorts—with a particular focus on our mission-driven, women-led startups.

Responsibilities

  • Storytelling: Identify and draft success stories from our startup cohorts to share across media channels.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain a database of journalists, bloggers, and influencers within the Pakistani tech and business landscape.
  • Press Materials: Draft press releases, media kits, and official statements for NIC Lahore events and milestones.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Support the management team in day-to-day operations related to public visibility and incubator coordination.
  • Event Coverage: Ensure high-quality PR coverage for graduation days, investor summits, and workshops.

Who You Are

  • Early Career Talent: 0–1 years of experience with a strong desire to grow within the startup ecosystem.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Urdu).
  • Adaptable: You thrive in a collaborative yet independent work style and can pivot as the needs of our startups evolve.
  • Mission-Aligned: You are passionate about inclusivity and supporting diverse founders.

What We Offer

  • Hands-on Experience: Direct exposure to the Pakistani startup ecosystem and early-stage ventures.
  • Mentorship: Guidance and training from a team led by industry veterans.
  • Networking: Access to a consortium of industry-leading partners across banking, tech, and real estate.
  • Knowledge: Deep dive into incubation, startup scaling, and innovation management.
