What I did

• Built an Electron app with a Supabase backend that automates operations end to end.
• Built a Chrome extension that batch-audits short-term rental listings across OTA platforms.
• Designed a modular automation system where every automation is a registered module with a manifest and its own context.
• Implemented network checks for Hostaway tasks to abort and mark errors if VPN or IP configurations are incorrect.
• Developed a system to record vendor login status (active vs. expired) before UI refreshes to prevent stale operator states.
• Built a crash recovery mechanism that flips stuck 'running' tasks to 'error' status on application startup.
• Designed run history logging as a fire-and-forget process to ensure database hiccups do not fail the automation.
• Implemented a data registry that throws errors in dev mode for unknown fact keys while logging and dropping them in production.
• Engineered an outbox pattern that stops at the first failed batch to maintain write order and resume on the next push.

Results

• Automated manual operations (markups, promotions, and QA) across 1,000+ listings, eliminating the need for manual per-listing updates.
• Saved hundreds of hours weekly by automating recurring workflows and QA reporting pipelines.
