What I did

• Architected a modular automation framework on Page Object Model with reusable utilities, robust locator strategies, and data driven patterns, sharply improving suite stability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Built AI agent and MCP driven testing workflows using Playwright MCP, enabling agents to map application flows and draft test scripts that I review, debug, and validate to combine AI speed with enterprise grade reliability.
• Drove regression cycle time from 10 days toward a 3 to 5 day target by automating the full platform ecosystem and replacing manual regression with structured smoke, sanity, and regression suites.
• Enabled faster, safer releases by wiring suites into CI/CD on GitHub Actions and Bitbucket with Allure reporting, and executing across Staging, UAT, and Production environments.
• Led and mentored a team of four engineers on framework design, locator optimization, and debugging strategy while partnering with developers and product owners in Agile delivery and tracking work in Jira.
• Evaluated modern mobile automation through proof of concept work with Appium, Maestro, Testsigma, and AI driven tooling to define scalable end to end mobile strategies.
• Expanded automated coverage across UI and API layers spanning happy path, negative, and edge case scenarios, reducing post deployment defects and dependence on slow manual testing.
• Configured AI agents to draft tests following internal Page Object Model and locator conventions like getByRole and getByLabel.
• Implemented a three-step workflow for AI-driven test generation: application exploration, test drafting, and manual review/debugging.
• Managed AI output consistency by treating the agent as a junior engineer and requiring tests to pass in Staging and UAT before merging.
• Architected a full testing framework for a five-module enterprise platform.
