How do you approach designing AI for sensitive user groups, like parents or the elderly?
I believe in 'Empathetic AI.' Whether it's using XAI to gently guide parents through an autism screening or simplifying government ID checks for the elderly, my goal is to make technology feel like a supportive partner. I focus on transparency and intuitive design to ensure users feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
How do you balance deep technical AI research with human-centric UI/UX design?
I bridge the gap by using Explainable AI (XAI). Instead of just giving a result, I design models that explain 'why' in a friendly, supportive tone. This turns the AI into a coach that helps users (like parents or elderly patients) understand the data without feeling judged or excluded.
If you could build any AI tool tomorrow, what would it be?
I'd build an AI-driven automation tool for complex screening processes, like graduate school applications. It would intelligently parse existing documents and verified web data to eliminate redundant form-filling, leaving only a final verification step for the user. It's about reclaiming time from 'dreadful' administrative tasks so people can focus on the actual goals.
