Hire me

Backend-focused engineer with a track record of shipping V1 products and scaling complex integrations. At Carbonteq, I spearheaded legal AI workflows for Dyspute.ai and optimized crowdfunding systems for Honeycomb Credit. With a foundation in Electrical Engineering from LUMS, I bridge the gap between high-level software architecture and low-level autonomous systems.

Experience

Associate Software Engineer

CarbonteqworkJun 2025 – Aug 2026

Summary

Selected through Carbonteq’s Talent Transformation Program, an initiative designed to transition non-CS graduates into professional software engineering roles. Worked as an Associate Software Engineer on client projects using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern web development infrastructure, with experience spanning backend development, integrations, frontend work, production support, and deployments.

What I did

  • Dyspute.ai | September 2025 – December 2025: Spearheaded backend development for a legal AI product, building complex AI workflows that enabled users to generate demand letters and settlement agreements through conversational interfaces, as well as resolve disputes using AI-assisted mediation and recommendations.
  • Built and deployed the backend using Convex, while also supporting frontend deployments through Vercel, GitHub repository management, and general deployment workflows.
  • Honeycomb Credit | January 2026 – August 2026: Worked as part of a four-person development team on an investment crowdfunding platform, contributing across both frontend and backend systems.
  • Worked on key third-party integrations including LoanPro, Stripe, Dwolla, and Mailgun, covering loan servicing, payments, settlements, webhooks, and templated communications.
  • Resolved live production issues, implemented product and design changes, and migrated API functionality from legacy systems to newer infrastructure.
  • Contributed to the development of an AI-assisted development harness designed to streamline development protocols and engineering workflows.
  • Gained hands-on experience with deployment workflows, environment configuration, repository management, and production systems.

Results

  • Spearheaded backend for Dyspute.ai, building complex AI workflows for legal demand letters and mediation.
  • Contributed to Honeycomb Credit, integrating LoanPro, Stripe, and Dwolla for loan servicing and payments.
  • Developed an AI-assisted development harness that increased team output and structured engineering workflows.
  • Contributed to an investment crowdfunding platform supporting an estimated user base of high hundreds to early thousands of investors.
  • Increased development velocity by 20-30% through an internal AI-assisted development harness that structured engineering workflows.

Multi-Teacher Knowledge Distillation for OOD Generalization

Researcheracademic
Proposed a novel confidence-aware multi-teacher distillation framework using entropy-based weighting to combine complementary inductive biases (texture-biased CNN vs. shape-biased Vision Transformer). Designed dynamic logit ensemble mechanism that adaptively prioritizes teacher contributions, improving out-of-distribution generalization on cue-conflict datasets (Stylized ImageNet, Canny Edge). Achieved balanced bias representation (0.49 shape vs. 0.51 texture) with only 2% accuracy trade-off, outperforming equal-weighted distillation by 20.88% on OOD benchmarks

Green Routing Strategic Logistic Planning

Researcheracademic
Analyzed the Price of Anarchy in a green routing congestion game using iterative projected gradient dynamics (SIRD). Demonstrated that increasing pollution costs reduces system inefficiency, suggesting a complete shift to EVs as the optimal strategy.
