Summary

6-month fixed-price build contract won by showing the client a working coded prototype of their national padel platform before they committed any funding.

What I did

  • 4 user roles in one app. Players, clubs, organisers and admins each get a view scoped to their own work.
  • 259 players moved from spreadsheet rankings through an import flow I designed with an automated diff. No player's points changed.
  • Built with Claude Code and Codex, then audited the AI-written release myself. Every finding was fixed before real users got access.
  • Wrote an automated diff report covering every era of the event history.
  • Developed a real-time court management system where the server acts as the sole source of truth for all actions.
  • Managed complex state and data synchronization using TanStack Query and Supabase Realtime channels.
  • Designed the 'Heritage Club' visual identity using cream backgrounds, deep green identity moments, and clay and gold accents for player achievements.

Results

  • Built an importer package that rebuilds boards from event history and performs field-by-field comparisons against client exports.
  • Developed a self-checking SQL generation process that rolls back Postgres transactions if rating and point totals do not match exactly.
  • Built a court desk interface for club staff to manage bookings, payments, and check-ins across multiple courts and hours.
  • Optimized public page performance by fixing a React mounting issue that was causing a 2-second delay in Lighthouse scores.
  • Implemented a 600ms debounce for data refetches to handle bursts of real-time occupancy changes efficiently.
  • Won contract via coded prototype before funding commitment.
  • Successfully migrated 259 players with zero data/points loss using an automated diff flow.
  • Implemented 4 distinct user-role views (Players, clubs, organisers, admins).

Summary

Built a verification harness for AI-assisted cryptographic code. It caught a hidden timing leak, and the paper is in revision at IACR TCHES.

What I did

  • Built a verification harness using a bit-exact Python mirror of the C pipeline to compare against an Arm FVP simulator.
  • Performed cross-checks using Microsoft SEAL to decrypt device ciphertexts.

Results

  • Identified a timing leak in the Montgomery reduction where a conditional branch on secret data existed in 8 copies of the RNS helper.
  • Replaced a conditional branch with a branch-free mask to ensure straight-line assembly while maintaining identical known-answer hashes.
  • Identified a hidden timing leak in cryptographic code using a custom verification harness.
  • Co-authored a paper currently in revision at IACR TCHES.

Summary

200+ students practise on an exam-prep platform I own from roadmap to release. It replaced a tutor's folder of past-paper PDFs and costs $0 a month to run.

What I did

  • 17,000+ past-paper questions for O Level, A Level and Digital SAT, with timed modules and a built-in Desmos calculator.
  • Sat with students while they practised and saw them repeat the same mistakes. Each wrong answer now goes into an error log and comes back as targeted practice.
  • Developed two Cloudflare Workers and two Supabase Edge Functions in TypeScript for the backend.
  • Implemented a host-only cookie system for image authorization to bypass header limitations in standard image tags.

Results

  • Secured paid content by moving question banks and answer keys behind a TypeScript Cloudflare Worker that validates Supabase session tokens.
  • Scaled platform to 200+ active student users.
  • Achieved $0/month operating cost for a platform hosting 17,000+ questions.
  • Implemented a feedback-driven error log for targeted student practice based on user observation.
