What is a social impact problem you are passionate about solving through design?

I'm deeply passionate about designing systems that support women returning to the workforce after childbirth. It's a transition that is often overwhelming and lacks structured resources. I want to build tools that provide the necessary support, mentorship, and resources to make that journey smoother and more empowering.

How do you balance collaborative and individual work?

I find that a hybrid approach works best. I love brainstorming with a team to get diverse perspectives and spark new ideas, but I also value solo time to dive deep into the details and refine the execution. Combining both ensures that the final design is both innovative and well-crafted.

How do you handle disagreements with your team regarding design decisions?

I believe it's crucial to voice concerns when a decision might compromise the user experience. I present my point of view backed by data and research. If the team remains unconvinced, I prioritize project momentum and collaboration, but I look for opportunities within the chosen direction to make incremental improvements that protect the user's needs.

How do you handle messy or contradictory user feedback?

I don't let messy feedback change my core process. I believe there are always ways to interpret it. By using systematic methods like open coding and affinity mapping, I can find the underlying themes and nuances even when the initial data seems contradictory. It's about looking deeper into the 'why' behind the messiness.
